Hiring Data Engineer - Looker :

• The candidate should have 5+ years of experience with GCP DE Stack + Looker + Bigquery
• Need to work with team and help them with solution Design
• Conduct Code Reviews
• Work with Architect to build high level design
• Should have hands on experience on Looker, Bigquery
• Sound understanding of DW concepts and analytics
• Should be good at working on the development side of things in Looker need to have an advanced understanding of sql
• Experience with composing performant queries specifically in BigQuery
• Knows how to dig into a data quality issue and find root cause
• Experience with performant table design using partitioning and clustering
• Experience with loading data into BigQuery
• Experience with bq command line tool
• Building dashboards based on a wireframe defined by business user (Looker visualization)
• Creating new dimensions or measures based off data that is already available in Looker (LookML)
• Creating aggregate awareness tables in Looker development to address speed issues on dashboards (LookML)
• Create drilling/linking to enable action based on reporting (LookML and visualization)
• Helping with 'Looker Maintenance' - these are improvements to our explores that improve the business user experience. This takes time working within Looker instance and business context before being able to make helpful
• improvements (LookML).
• Building performant Looker reports that join disparate views by using NDTs and binding filters

Work Time : 3PM to 12AM

Location : Chennai / Bangalore / Kochi / Remote
