Only allow co-authors to add tables if there are available team data sources
If team data sources are not available, the New table button is now grayed out and a tooltip provides more information. Previously, a user was alerted after they clicked the New Table button. |
This fix is being rolled back for all paid users to address issues reported in the community. Previously it was deployed to 100% of free users and 50% paid users.
The intent was not to change or limit the way you work as co-authors. We were trying to make it more obvious for users when you could not add a new table. In general, we'll look at the co-authoring experience and how it relates to access permissions of data sources, before we make further changes. We'll also publish them in the community beforehand. |
