Visualization for two datasets

Relatively new to Looker, my IT team has created views of datasets which I am then able to visualize on dashboards without too much difficulty however I now want to be able to combine data.

An example would be I would like a object to show our current sales (dataset 1) compared to our forecast (dataset 2).  Ideally I would love to show this in a bar where the sales are relieving the forecasted amount as the month progresses.

Any assistance would be most appreciated.
