Totals in merged queries results

Hi all,

I know it's not possible to add totals to a pivoted merged queries result but I wonder if anyone has yet found a workaround for that ?

If not is it something that's planned to be added to looker at some point ?

TIA

Hey @Noozbi !
Here you have an example in Merged queries:

There is a way to achieve the totals using the Calculations. I'm not sure what types of measures you've been using in your merged queries result but here you have an example how to achieve a very similar workaround to the Row totals.
Click over the measure that you want to sum each row. In the menu select the Running Row total.
Once you have it, then you can click over the calculation (in my case in the column of "Men") and Hide this column from the visualization leaving only the last one as visible out of all calculations.

Hope this helps you!!
Please share if that solved your issue.

If not, please come back here and bring more insights about your use case 🙂
