Is any way to turn off README autogeneration by Looker?

It happens when you create view by Looker feature "Create View from Table", which we use and some devs don't catch it's automatically replaced our repo readme, which contains more useful info about code deployment, etc.

The current workaround is reverting the file each time after autogeneration.

I really think so. Inexperienced developers often overwrite it and I restore it. It's a waste of work.
It has also been reported in pendo, which is accessible to Looker admins.
