Hello folks,
I’m trying to plot a single datapoint (lat+long) on a map, but the end result is pretty much unusable cause the zoom level is either too small or too big.
Background: my dashboard shows information about organizations e.g. a hospital in the screenshot below. Users can select different organizations via a filter.
I’m selecting the ‘Fit to Data’ option (from the map viz configuration panel) in order to have the map display just the location I’m focusing on, but the end result looks like this:
Basically the zoom level is too high for the map to be readable.
If I remove the ‘Fit to Data’ option, then the result is totally zoomed out e.g.:
Am I missing something here? Ideally I’d like to have a ‘Fit to data’ AND zoom option together. But can’t figure out how that’s done.
