Looker Custom Measure

We create a custom measure as a List of unique values 

The value that we try to get the unique values from is a string 

when we try to send the look as Simple JSON the measure is not wrapped with a double Quotation

for example, if we try to get the unique values  name 

when we export the looks as JSON the names will be like this 

{"names" : name1, name2 } and it should be like this  {"names" : "name1, name2" }

is there any solution or work around for this?
