LookML code showing Warning in spite of copy pasting the original code after some changes

I was trying to edit LookML code to do some RND but it is showing this warning “

There are some issues with this LookML code that will cause aspects of your data model to behave unexpectedly. These should be repaired to ensure your data model works as intended.

Liquid parse exception: extraneous input '{{' (around the text "% if {{val") Note: you should use "{% if var %}" rather than "{% if {{ var }} %}" to reference variables. This warning can be temporarily silenced by enabling the "Syntax Tolerant Liquid" legacy feature.

I have even taken a back up of the original code and pasted it back the same way, but still the code is not getting validated and showing the above message as Warning!.

Can anyone please help on this? I am very new to looker.

Regards,

Vikram.
