JSON from Google Sheet as Data Source

I have a Google Sheet that’s filled from an API that I’m using as a Looker Studio Data Source. The problem is that the API returns the data in a single cell in JSON. I wrote a script to convert it to separate cells in another tab, but it takes a long time to run when the data is updated. I’d like to know if I can use LookML to automatically translate that JSON into a data source that Looker Studio can use. Your insights would be appreciated.
