Fiscal Quarter Not Picking Up Transactions on First Day of Quarter

We have a fiscal quarter offset of 1 month. So our Q2 is from 5/1 to 7/31. We are experiencing issues where transactions from 5/1 are not being picked up in our Q2 when running a filter for fiscal quarter. We do however see the correct transactions when filtering for the exact dates of the quarter 5/1/2020 to 7/31/2020. We suspect that this is some sort of time zone issue, but I’m curious if others have had this issue.

definitely looks like a time zone issue. Can you paste the SQL generated for both (filter on fiscal quarter and filter on dates)?
