Filtering percentages

Hi all,

I was wondering if there is a solution to filtering a metric which has a data type equal to 'percent'. I have tried to use the metric slider for bounce rate filtering, though it only appears to work for data types equal to 'number'. The range inputted into a metric slider also resets when the page has been refreshed, thus showing the entire dataset. 

Is there a solution to some kind of editor filter whereby only the page editor can filter the dataset becoming the constant view for the viewer?
