Create a custom filter that defaults to current week Sunday to Saturday

Hi Looker geniuses,

Is there a way I can create a custom filter that defaults to the most current week from Sunday to Saturday?

So if a user logs in today (Feb, 22, 2022), they would see a default from Feb 20th to Feb 26th, 2022.

If not that how can I create a dropdown that just has Sunday’s dates in it?

Either one would work but I’d prefer the range.

Not played around but should be possible, checkout the day_of_week example here: https://docs.looker.com/reference/filter-expressions#date_and_time

Something along the lines of “7 days before Sunday”. You might not be able to mix and match some of the keywords though.

Thank you @IanT  that did help.  I do have a follow up question though.  I set the date filter so they would select a Sunday and that should work.

but can I create a 2nd filter or custom filter off of that which always grabs the 31 days before the date they select?  So for 2 tiles the date they select is fine, but a 3rd tile needs the 31 days before.
