Can someone please tell me what tier points are and how to earn them?

So basically to earn tier points, you have to complete the events. You can get the list of currently ongoing events from here . Make sure you subscribe to it, by entering your mail id in the text box. You have to complete the challenges within the deadline
You can find the deadline on each challenge page when you click start button provided below each challenge.
