GCP-OCI interconnect

Hi Folks

We are working on building a cross-connect in Equinix IAD between OCI and GCP. When we request a bi-directional loop, the OCI interface will be UP as colo is getting light from OCI. and a loop facing GCP, the interface will not turn UP as there is no light at their demarc. How can we make sure that the GCP light at its demarc is UP for Tx?

For this type of scenarios, where there is no light at the demarc, you can clean and reseat all the fiber on their side, as stated on this documentation.

For further assistance, contact your service provider. If needed, your service provider will contact Google to fix issues related to the Google side of the network.
