Default Network Policy for Standard GKE Cluster

Hi Guys ,

New in this space , coudl you let me know for a GKE standard Cluster if i dont enable  Network Policy flag to be used , then what's the default network used in GKE ?

Your question is not clear, what do you mean by "what's the default network used in GKE?" Are you referring to the default network policy used? If that is the case, then when there is no network policy defined, the default is to allow all the ingress and egress traffic in your Pods.

yes i meant default network policy more specifically the what's the google default  CNI plugin under the hood for GKE ?  In case we are not enabling network policy  because i know i guess if network policy is on then calico plugin is used right ?

Right, the default when no network policy is enabled, is to use the GKE's native Container Network Interface (CNI).
