Tiles as links

Does Looker have the ability to share tiles within dashboards as links? Stakeholders often one piece of information within a particular dashboard and it is hard to point them to the correct tile. It would be easier if each tile had a link so the link would send them to the relevant section of the dashboard immediately. (Sort of like sections in an HTML doc).

In this case, it sounds like there may be an opportunity to reduce the amount of information on this single dashboard. Best practice for dashboard design leans toward simplicity. If users are having to do a lot of scrolling or are unable to find the information they're looking for easily, you may want to consider breaking the dashboard into logical groupings and providing separate links to the different dashboards.

That said, if it's required that the dashboard remain as one, a workaround you can try is adding descriptive text tiles above popular visualizations and then using Chrome's "Copy Link to Highlight" (from the right click menu) and providing users with that link. This would jump them to that section of the dashboard with the highlighted text.

Hey @pnagpal !

Another solution might be to create looks and share the link to the stakeholders. Instead of loading a whole dashboard, some of those tiles you can save them as looks. And you can add those to a dashboard in order to be connected for any future changes.
