Selecting filter item breaks time based chart

Hey all, I'm reaching out in hopes someone might have some insights on the issue I've been seeing. I have a chart that's based on a date range that works fine until you select or deselect a filter. When all the options on the filter are selected it works as expected, however if you just deselect one value (that doesn't affect the other dates) the chart and the other data breaks. I haven't been able to figure out what the cause is and I'm hoping others have seen the same issue and have insights. This is also my first post so if people usually provide more info please let me know.

Just wanted to say that the amount of info you provided is great! 

I haven't seen this issue before, and I can't reproduce it on my internal instance, but I'm curious if anyone else has run into this and/or solved it.
