Looker perfomance

Hi all,

I am new to looker. 

So, I have a dashboard which is taking lot of time to load. 

Could anyone please let me know how I can record the performance or how can I check the performance.

Hey,

1. Best way would be to check in the database which gets hit when you run your dashboard.

There should be a query profile or history or logs maintained for every query hit along with seconds is took to complete the query meaning loading the complete dashboard on looker. 

2. Easiest way would be to check the history on looker itself. Hover on the top right profile icon and select ‘History’ from the drop down. It brings the dashboard id/look id which was run and the seconds it took to execute. But this is static info which leaves no room to analyze or compare with older dates of execution.
