Looker integration with PagerDuty

I have looker configured with alerts. I would like to integrate alert notification to PagerDuty .Currently, I  don’t find any direct plugin to integrate.  PagerDuty provides API for integration but I am not sure how to create plugin for integration.

I think alerts can only send to slack or email, not sure if pager duty can be setup to relay emails!?

Normal schedules can be sent to webhooks which would be easier but you its hard and sometimes impossible to replicate alert functionality with schedules.
