How to filter on filters?

Hi,

I found when I want to only display data with certain conditions on the dashboard, I could add 'always_filter' in the model, and the data under visualizations would be filtered automatically. However, the top filter on the dashboard page would still show everything without any filtering itself. 

Is it possible to let it only show fields needed?
