How to exclude missing dates from last 12 months of filter in looker?

I want the dashboard level date filter to automatically update to last 12 rolling months every time the data updates monthly.  However, there is a lag of 3 months in the data, so the last 12 months only shows 9 months of data (including 3 months of the missing data).  How can I solve this without having to change the dashboard filter to show last 15 months.  Thanks.

You could try using offset to offset by 3 months.

Thanks for the input idaok!  However, the offset function (at the table calc level) is not solving the problem. I am still showing only 9 months (and 12 months with "Fill in missing dates" with null values) when I select "last 12 months" from my dashboard filter. Also, the offset may change from 3 months to 2 months in the future so the solution should take that into account.
