Enabling user chart annotation and commenting

Hi, 

Is there some way to enable user chart annotation on the dashboard. So the viewer can  actually mark some charts on the Looker dashboard.

Unfortunately, there's no way to do it since Looker content doesn't have ability to save any extra information. I also think it could be difficult to manage but I'm interested in your use case. I always wanted annotation to be done on specific data points (aka. events). Why would you want users to annotate it?

One use case would be to explain to the rest of the viewers an upward/downward trend in a metric. So the user with the specific knowledge would annotate it and then it would be visible to the rest of the viewers
