I want to embed an interactive map constructed in R using the leaflet package into a Google Looker Studio report.
Having realised it is not possible to add an HTML widget directly into Looker Studio reports, I have embedded the map in a Google Site.
However, when I go to embed that site in the Looker Studio report, I get an error in Looker Studio saying 'Can't embed due to provider site restrictions'.
The Google Site is published under the 'Public' setting, so 'Anyone on the Internet can find and open' it.
Is there other settings I need to change on the google site to be able to embed it in Looker Studio? Given that they are both Google products I had assumed this would be relatively simple.
