Dashboard filter suggestions persisting between dashboards

Hi,

In this scenario I have Dashboard A and Dashboard B which share Filter 1 and Filter 2.

When I select from Filter 1, it will narrow the suggestions of Filter 2.

Whether I apply the filter in Dashboard A or B, when I jump to the other Dashboard, the suggested values of Filter 2 remains instead of being fully populated. Even though on the new Dashboard, the Filter 1 values are no longer selected.

However, when I refresh the page or open the dashboard in another tab in my browser, the Filter 2 suggestions behave as expected (fully populated).

I have tried using `suggest_persist_for: "0 seconds"` on the the affected dimensions for the two Filters but the issue still persists.

Is there a solution here or is this a Looker bug?

Hi @edgar1  - I'm wondering if it is related to an issue I found last week. Do you have the Reduce Filter Queries lab enabled?

Hey @n_davis I looked at the lab settings and Reduce Filter Queries is not enabled.
