I am trying to do a simple CountIF Function in Looker, but for the life of me can’t figure out how to do it.
I have a list of data rows, and one of the columns consists of customer email addresses. For each row, I want to count the number of times the specific email address in that row appears in the entire list. In excel, I would do this simple formula: =COUNTIF(A:A,A2) with Column A being the column of customer email addresses and A2 being the specific customer email address I want to count in the total list.
Is there a way to do this? The only way I’ve seen in all of the documents and forums I’ve looked at to do this is to give a specific email address I want to count in a formula, but there are thousands of email addresses and I want to just count the email address in the particular row the formula is in.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
