Sharing public embed looks with custom filter values

Hi all. I have a Look that I want to embed into a public website. This embed will be a public embed. I want to be able to dynamically change the value of a filter on this Look by manipulating the URL in the same way that I can customize the filter values for a dashboard via its URL. Can the values for filters on Looks be customized in this way, i.e., in the same way that values for filters on dashboards can be customized? I'm running up against a wall because it looks like the filter values (and other parameters) for Looks are now all represented as a hashed slug. Thanks!
