Recertification voucher for new exams

Are we permitted to use recertification vouchers to attempt new exams.

For example, after passing the ace exam, using this discount voucher to attempt the pca exam.

I'm not sure the voucher is good for other exams too, as the recertification voucher is usually just 50% off, and not a 100% voucher, no?

The Certmetrics website says the following on the section where you claim the voucher "50% Off Your Next Exam or Renewal". So you can use it for any exam as long as it's before it expires.
