Pixiko Causing Graphic Driver Crashes on ThinkPad P14s Gen 4 Mobile Workstation

Hi Everyone

I wanted to bring to your attention an issue that I've been experiencing lately with my ThinkPad P14s Gen 4 (14″ Intel) Mobile Workstation. It seems that using Pixiko, a popular video editing software, is causing repeated crashes of the graphic driver on my laptop.

Whenever I launch Pixiko and start editing videos, my laptop's screen flickers, and then the entire system crashes, resulting in a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). After rebooting, I receive a message that the graphic driver has encountered a problem and was restarted.

Steps to Reproduce:

Open Pixiko on the ThinkPad P14s Gen 4.
Start a new video editing project or open an existing one.
Begin editing tasks such as adding effects, transitions, or making cuts.
After a short period of time, the screen flickers and the system crashes.

Workarounds Tried:

  1. I've attempted to reinstall both the software and the graphic driver, but the issue persists.
  2. I've lowered the graphics settings within Pixiko, but this did not prevent the crashes.

Thank you for your help!

Best regards,
