Switching application objects to a new instance with slight column differences.

Hi All!

I have an app that is currently connected to a SQL instance and I need to switch it over to a different instance that has all the same objects but with some objects additional columns.  If I switch objects to one that has a different structure in terms of column order and some additional columns will it break my app?  Or will AppSheet be able to identify  where things are the same.

What do you mean by "break" the app?  Are you referring to your end users?

Not break more so than lose any information that was added to a field, app formulas, initial values, display names, etc.  Or alter views in anyway.  I would assume as long as existing column names do not change, adding new columns in positions other than the end of an object would not have any effect on my app when I regenerate the structure
