Functions in cell

Hi all,

I'm wondering if there is a way to allow user to insert functions in a cell and then return the results. Like in the excel/sheets cell, when you write "=5+4+2" and after ENTER you have the result in the cell. 

Someone can help me?

Hello there,

All the formula/expressions work in AppSheet has to be done from the editors side.

AppSheet may have "table" views but it isn't spreadsheet software by any means.

You can prepare for a lot of situations to enable calculations for many use cases, but these are known beforehand, not created by the user by typing in any formulas.
