Delete rows from child table while editing parent table

When I am updating a record of the parent table from the form, the details of all
the children it contains that are related appear, but when entering each child it
does not allow me to delete it, the child's form appears to edit its data but with
the options just save and cancel and what I want is to be able to delete that child from
the edit view of the parent table

Correct, that's how it works. You cannot delete child rows from within a form view.
