Automated author email selection in document management app: is it possible?

I created a document management app, similar to lumwork. However, i would like that, like in lumwork, when i select the document author, the emails of those which i have granted access to the app would be automatically pulled, without having to previously register them in a spreadsheet column. is this possible in App Sheet's?
