Apigee X southbound PSC connectivity - routing segmentation

Hi,

There is any way to have southbound routing segmentation?

For example, using southbound PSC, one Endpoint Attachment allowed only for one Environment and not the entire Apigee organization/Instance(region)?

Hi @pfilourenco ,

Currently, Apigee does not support explicit segmentation for the PSC Endpoint Attachments. However, you can use the endpoints with TargetServer configurations. The Target Servers are environmental resource, and will help you to segregate the endpoints based on your requirements.

If possible, please provide more details regarding your usecase so that it may help us to consider it as new feature request.

Thanks,
Baskar.

Hi @iambaskar ,

Example,  team A should only create proxies with access (routing/l4) to their backends and not be able to create a proxy with routing to a backend managed by team B.

If we deploy  PSC Endpoint Attachments for our teams access their backends, every proxy/team/group in our Apigee org can use any PSC and have routing and L4 security rules to access all the backends.

I will have a look on TargetServer thanks.
