Connexion on BigQuery views with Service Account is not working

Hi all,

Hope you’re all doing great (and safe).

I created a dedicated Project with many views from different projects / tables. The Project will be my single source of connexion in Looker. But it’s not working because I guess my Service Account doesn’t have access on the ‘’real’’ tables.

Did I miss something?

Do you have any bypass?

Thanks a lot

Either grant permissions on source tables or take a read about “authorised views”. Very useful but a bit of a pain to manage.

Hi,

Thanks a lot. On my project they do not want to share access with only one service account to Dev / UAT and PROD. It must be 3 different SAs… so it’s not that easy to manage with 3 different connexions int Looker and then 3 models… And they want to be able to join date from UAT to PROD if it’s needed. So we decided to create one project with one SA working only with views…

Thanks for your help.
