Vertex AI Studio / Gemini 1.5. Error message: "The caller does not have permission"

When I choose a video in a cloud storage object, I get this error.

As a test I even tried to make the bucket publicly available to allUsers.

Also from inspiration from another post, the bucket dont have any retention on it.

This seems to be permission error for the service account. Are you perhaps using any service account listed here .

also might as well add the pricipal of the vertex ai serviceaccount as owner to the bucket to be sure.

I am also having this error I created a service account and gave it all the correct perms still same issue. Only happens with image and video.
