Why aren't partition key enabled for Impala?

Our instance uses Impala and recently we enabled PDTs to fasten report performance. However the PDT tables are themselves very slow as there are no way to index or partition. 

 

How do you recommend increasing performance for Impala PDTs?

Hi @Ayvi, are you using Cloudera Impala? Unfortunately, the two parameters “partition_keys” and “indexes” are not yet support for this dialect. You could submit this suggestion to our product team directly by clicking ? at top right in your Looker instance → Got product idea?
