Looker explore has the History table where we can find out the dashboard Creator Name. Where can we find the user name who updated the dashboard?

Thanks

In system activity there is an event and event attribute explore which may have this, it’s not ideal and if you are not on system activity elite then you won’t have much history in these explores.

Thanks lanT! Do you know the specific field name? I explored in both event and event attribute and only found event name, which tells what activity (run_query, create_query, etc.) the users have performed in general but it’s not associated with the specific dashboard.

event.category = dashboard

event.name = update_dashboard

event attribute.value = the dashboardid

user.email = who dunnit!

Thanks lanT! very helpful!

I ran the query without a date filter, but the result only returned today and yesterday’s data (Event Created Time). Can looker return event data within the last 30 days?

History and event data is limited to amount of days or x amount of records in database (whatever is reached first). You will need this to go back further however all the old history will be lost so if you get o to elite today you will start building data from today.
