Table calculation total wrong

Simple order count, its % of total, and then a weight.

Somehow the total for the weight is the same as the total for the volume. Surely that can’t be right 😃

Hi, I was searching for something similar and saw your post. I think you will find your answer at Considerations when using table calculations:



If you add a total row to your data table, some table calculations that perform aggregations, such as calculations using percentile or median, might not add up as you expect. This is because table calculations calculate totals using the values in the total row, not using the values in the data column.



So, it looks like ‘Weighted’ = ‘Order count’ x ‘% of Total’ and rounding to the nearest integer. Since ‘table calculations calculate totals using the values in the total row’, the “Total” for the Weighted column is basing the calculation on the other values in the Total Row, i.e. 68 x 1.
