Subtotal Rows Duplicated when exporting to Excel

Have other people found that when exporting a table visual with subtotals enabled to Excel, that the subtotal amount gets repeated? Once with the category (field used for subtotaling) filled in and once with it blank.

It does it for all the subcategories in the same pattern, so the 2nd value is not the total across all categories, which has it’s own separate row (not shown).

Trying to diagnose if this is a bug or something caused by a specific combination of settings or data structure. Thank you for any ideas anyone has

@n_davis I don't believe so, we try to avoid the subtotal functionality because it misbehaves too often when used in any implementation beyond the most basic use cases. That's been our experience at least
