schedule a look (menu item missing)

I’m trying to schedule a Look following the instructions here:

Specifically, “One option is to click Browse to find the content (dashboard or Look) you want to schedule. Then click the item’s three-dot menu and choose Edit Schedule (if there is already a schedule for the item) or Add Schedule (if there is not yet a schedule for the item).”

However, my thee-dot menu items are: Rename, Edit Settings, Pin to a Board, Explore from here, Move, Copy, Move to Trash.

There is no ability to add a Look to schedule. Can you help?

Thanks
Eric

It sounds like you need some additional rights, it particular I’d guess you need the see_schedules permission. See https://docs.looker.com/admin-options/scheduler/plans for details.

I am an admin, so I have all rights.

you in dev mode?

No, I am not in dev mode.

To schedule a look, public access for the look must be turned on first. Have you done that? To turn on public access, edit the setting for the look.

I couldn’t find that setting to make the Look public.
However, I was able to solve the issue in this way: When viewing the Look, there is a details pane on the right. That pane has an option to set the schedule for that Look. Using that, I was able to create a schedule.
