Rebuild Derived Tables & Run does not rebuild all chain

Dear Looker Team,

When I am in Explore, and I need to have the newest data as possible, I use: Rebuild Derived Tables & Run does not rebuild all chain from the right top corner.

But the problem is this PDT refresh doesn’t refresh all the PDT chain (PDTs that depends on other PDTs), it means, we have to manually check the other dependences to also refresh them in order to have all the newest data.

It would be nice to have all chain refreshed in the right order.

When you Rebuild Derived Tables & Run, it should rebuild all PDTs in the current explore as well as all PDTs that those depend on. If you’re not seeing that behavior or if it seems to not be propagating in order, it would be super helpful to reach out to support via chat or support.looker.com with some examples, as we’d want to take a closer look.
