I’m a total newbie with Looker, and our company is partnering with another company who controls every aspect of Looker and keeps pretty tight control of it.
They have added the ability for us to send the looks/dashboards we create to our sFTP site, but my question is, can something be setup so we do not have to keep entering the host, username and password every time?
Regarding use of the API and Embed, are there additional costs associated with these? I’ve read a fair amount about the API, and from what I understand, it will not give me any access to anything I do not already have access to. I think our partner is concerned that it will give me some god-like access so I can see data that I shouldn’t have access to. I believe that they have implied that there is an additional associated cost to use the API from Looker. Same question goes for Embed.
