My question is as simple as the title:

I need to know is it possible to extend the history explore to more than 90 days?

We want to track users activity from beyond that time. And if yes what will it cost us in terms of memory, cost, usage?

Yes, you can do it through Elite System Activity: https://docs.looker.com/admin-options/system-activity/elite-system-activity

@stefinass - We accomplish this by snapshotting the system activity explore every night. This allows you to (eventually) build even past the 1-yr of data that the elite system activity explore provides.

@aiden How did you snapshot it? And ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for the reply!

@stefinass, its an involved process, but simple to maintain once up-and-running.

We have a Look that displays almost all the data from the system activity explore, all for the previous day. Then every night outside of Looker in a python script we save the contents of that look to a table in Bigquery
