How to get a list of dashboards or looks used by a specific explore -

Whats the timeframe on when the looks and dashboards are given in this list. It seems like new looks/dashboards arent in the list (created less than a couple days ago). What about old looks/dashboards? (created 5 years ago)?

Another solution.

If you have development privileges, you can find out by renaming that Explore in development mode and running Content Validator.

“explore from here” on one of the tiles in a dashboard or visit the history explore fromthe system activity model in the explore main menu (like you would visit any other explore).

Amount of historic data is explained here in the explores section: https://docs.looker.com/admin-options/system-activity

Okay because im trying to deterministically tell when i edit an explore, what dashboards and looks use the explore. Even if the dashboards were created 10 years ago. That way when I delete a join in an explore, I know it wont break ANY dashboards or looks

How do I do this?

“By default, System Activity data is stored in Looker’s internal database. Most tables are truncated on a regular schedule to comply with storage limits. ” https://docs.looker.com/admin-options/tutorials/system-activity
