I am trying to achieve a couple of things. I hope my questions remain structured.
My goal is to be able to overview only the top 20% of total spend items. Prior to this, I have already apply some filters which was the starting point in analyzing the data I have interest in.
- How can I sum only filtered data to make it 100% of the data that I have interest in?
Example: Filter: Cost is greater than 100 in a time range x until y.
So, now I have filtered data, and now I want to filter only the items which generate 20% of the spend (in a new total sum which is based on the filtered data).
Ignoring this obstacle I have calculated running total share to get a value of 20%. However, this calculation is dividing the grand total, not the filtered one.
- Since I don’t have admin rights to turn calculation into a dimension, is there a different approach on which I can filter top 20% spenders from the filtered total data?
Example: Sort by cost; Running total cost / cost
