Remove Gear Icon Next to Dimensions/Measures

When an embed user is exploring, the Gear menu next to each Dimension and Measure is empty. Logging into Looker and SUDO as embed user produces the same empty menu. Checking/unchecking ‘see_lookml’ in Permission Set has no effect.

Can this Gear icon be completely removed for embed users? I don’t wish embed users to view LookML. Therefore, I don’t need this Gear menu to show up for embed users. There are other Looker permissions that, when revoked, completely remove related Gear icons and menu entries. Could I be missing some setting that is forcing those Gear icons to persist with no menu entries?
