Hello,

I am thinking of buying a version Looker Studio Pro. I would like to use the free version before buying. Did anyone know if there is such a chance?

Can you share your experiences with this tool?

yes, I am using data studio but in the communication it was written that google plans to introduce Looker Studio Pro versions

As far as I know, Looker Studio and Looker Studio Pro have the same visualization features so far. Looker Studio Pro may have more features on top of it.

I am not an expert of Looker Studio, but I would recommend reaching out to Google Cloud sales specialist for more details and they can be your help 🙂

Hello.

Looker Studio Pro is a paid tool and can't be used for free. You need to contact Google Sales to arrange the licenses for you.

My experience in using Looker Studio Pro:

1. It's not possible to use the free version of Looker Studio and Looker Studio Pro at the same time. If you go with Looker Studio Pro, be ready to pay for all the existing active users 7$/ month. I heard that we will be able to use both platforms separately with the next releases, but I don't know the deadlines 

2. Active users are users who, at least once a month, open the Looker Studio report. 

3. External users who are not part of your Organization are not charged for LSP licenses

4. Looker Studio Pro licenses need a separate Google Cloud project setup. There is an instruction in the Google documentation, but to be honest, we had to ask for help from Google because the instructions left a lot of questions
