Embedded user - Editing user attributes?

Are there any plans to allow us to modify an embedded user? We constantly need to change different user attributes for embedded users, and the only solution is to delete them and recreate them, which leads to a disruption in service and is very time intensive.

I don't see any other solution than that you need to create a group for that specific user, and then modify the attributes via the group.

Or have you come up with some new way?
