In 2019 it was planned to launch document style dashboards like this: https://www.samuelcrane.com/post/2019-11-14-looker-join_files/dynamic.png
Since then a lot of time has gone past and while there is still ways to build smth similar with HTML hacks then I was curios what happened with this idea?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hey @er1k and @Dawid, just heard back from our Product team on this:
Doc style dashboards has slipped off our roadmap as we have focused on some parity features of legacy dashboards and our new dashboards.
We are hoping to be able to shift our focus to more innovative changes in the second half of this year and we will update the roadmap with more concrete features in the next month or so.
+1 this feature would be very useful in how we distribute analytics/guide users to certain insights. Hope it’s in the last stages before being rolled out!
@michael do you maybe know more about it?
+1 !
Hey @David_P1 - thanks for the ping. I agree - a document-style would be so helpful in so many scenarios!
I’ve put in a note to our product team, asking for any specific insight into where this stands today. I’ll follow up the moment I hear back!
@michael any update here?
Hey @er1k ,
I have not heard back yet from the appropriate team. I did send a follow-up note earlier this week and I will update this thread the moment that I hear back.
Thank you for your patience!
Nearly a month to get a comment, so pumping it up again. 🙂
Wow, I completely missed it. This would be amazing. I currently do that using a lot of HTML in the dashboards-next but documents like that would be such an upgrade of the appeal of rendered dashboards
