Very basic Question

Hi everyone,

Brand new here, so forgive me if I do this wrong. Just point me in the right direction. My software vendor, EnterpriseRx, is using Looker for their new reporting platform and I need to learn how to use it to build custom reports. 

I don’t get how to create a report that will provide me with the grand total of prescriptions filled on a given day. I can create the report to list all the individual prescriptions. But don’t know how to make it sum them up and then provide the grand total as the visualization. 

Any thoughts?
